Group Exercise Director/CoordinatorPrimary QualificationsVery positive and energetic personalityA passion for group exercise classesGreat communicator and must work hand in hand with all group exercise staff and in addition with club managersExcellent communication, time management, organization skillsPosition ResponsibilitiesAerobics Coordinator: Bachelor's Degree preferred or 5 years experience AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross CPR certification required. Certifications: ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NASM, NSCA, etc.Oversee all group exercise schedules for World Gym SmyrnaCommunicate with the instructorsTrack member attendance of classes weekly and monthlyCreate a sub-list of instructors to cover classes from being cancelledEnsure classes do not get cancelled and all instructors arrive to all classes on timeKeep updated listing of instructors certification certificatesSpend 15-20 hours weekly in the club asking members to evaluate classes and gain feedback also meeting with the club manager for marketing/social mediaBe reachable and available from other instructors with questions and emergenciesBuild a network of area instructors and look to create the best class schedules to create raving fansMust teach 5 classes per weekCompensación: $17,500.00 - $18,500.00 per yearThe iconic World Gym brand was founded in 1976 by Joe Gold during the glory days of "Muscle Beach" in Venice, CA.
