Physical Therapy Assistant

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in San Francisco, CA at an outpatient clinic. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, function, and quality of life under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluations, 60-minute evaluations plus treatment, clear documentation, functional treatment planning, patient and family education, and safe practice. You will support student learning when assigned and participate in continuous professional development and organizational performance improvement efforts.

Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.

No new graduates.

Current knowledge of documentation standards, goal writing, and letters of medical necessity.

Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows and performance improvement initiatives.
