Full-time position – 80 hours bi-weekly

High School Diploma or GED degree Required

3 - 4 years experience in a related field Required

Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to perform intermediate mathematical operations

Under general direction, this position performs supply and inventory control functions primarily to include monitoring usage of all supplies, PAR level establishment and maintenance, calculation order quantities, submitting orders, processing credits and adjustments, receiving storing, dispensing materials, and maintaining order in, and ensuring cleanliness of all storage locations. Adjusts par levels minimum/maxes of assigned area to maintain appropriate inventory levels; Keeps handheld units up-to-date.

Helps to maintain control of supply budget of assigned nursing areas and storeroom by maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet department needs yet keeping those levels at a Minimum.

Identifies possible inventory problems and works toward resolving them, i.e., Inventory management as follows: Proper and complete ordering and storage of supplies. Inventory of supplies for reordering. Proper rotation of stock. Visual Acuity: Far - Frequently
