Cardiac Sonographer I- Swing Shift

90% FTE, 36 hours per week, day shift, Monday - Friday between 7:00AM - 5:00PM, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating evening/weekend call responsibility and 1-hour response time. You will work at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. This position may be eligible for a $9,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE)

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to:

Join our Pediatric Echo Lab that is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography

Care for patients from fetal life through adulthood and across the care continuum in spaces that include outpatient clinics, inpatient units, OR, cath lab, and the emergency department

Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program, Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field

Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field

Work Experience

Pediatric echocardiography experience

Preferred: 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography testing

Registered in Adult Echocardiography (AE) Upon Hire

Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)

Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
