Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical to join our team.
This position entails caring for patients following ENT and plastic surgeries.
You will monitor flaps post-operative and manage drains.
Care for tracheostomies and total laryngectomies will be a part of your responsibilities.
You will perform tube feeding and provide wound care to patients.
Experience in telemetry is essential, as you will monitor patients with complex needs.
The required patient ratio is 1:5, ensuring quality care for each individual.
The shifts are night shifts, with three 12-hour shifts per week.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Candidates must have experience with drains and telemetry monitoring.
Flexibility in scheduling is required, with a maximum of seven days of requested time off during the contract.
All travelers must float within the service line.
