DevOps System Engineering

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated, and experienced systems engineer to help support the public cloud and enhance DevSecOps practices to automate workflows for the enterprise. Design, implement, and maintain operational components in public clouds, such as AWS, Azure as well as private cloud

Collaborate with a team of DevOps engineers to help maintain the production application and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers and regions

Work closely with development teams to improve workflows around build, test, and deployment of applications

Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools within a cloud environment

Perform day-to-day support of the applications covering deployment, patching and general administration

Troubleshoot the system and provide root cause analysis

Provide rotational 24/7 on-call technical support

2+ years of relevant work experience, focused on infrastructure management and automation

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with UNIX/Linux environments
• Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet/Chef)
• Ability to write code in Python/PowerShell for infrastructure scripting
• Ability to automate self-service workflows
• Understanding/experience of cloud and web security is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related STEM field

Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

Previous experience with cloud provisioning tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

Experience with Jenkins pipelines and libraries

Working experience with Linux containers (Docker) and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes

Previous experience supporting mission-critical distributed systems
