Exotech is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic IV to join our team and provide expert support in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of both light- and heavy-duty industrial manufacturing equipment within our facility.
This senior-level, hands-on role is critical to maintaining manufacturing equipment and machine production uptime and leading preventive equipment maintenance efforts across all departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience, proven leadership skills, and extensive expertise in repairing and maintaining manufacturing machinery, hydraulic units, electric motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors, PLC controls, gearboxes, forklifts, and other essential manufacturing plant equipment.
Compensation: The salary range is $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
Sign On Bonus: $1,000 bonus paid after 6 months of successful employment

Schedule: Regular work hours are generally 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with flexibility (may be required to work overtime as necessary to meet operational needs)
Location: This is an in-person position at the facility in Pompano Beach, FL.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic units, pneumatic systems, and low-voltage electrical systems, repair, maintain, and install industrial manufacturing equipment including both light-duty and heavy-duty machinery
Diagnose industrial manufacturing equipment to repair conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, forklifts, and other plant equipment
Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and respond to equipment breakdowns and work to quickly resolve the problem to ensure the timely placement back into production
Prioritize equipment maintenance with production leadership to maximize manufacturing equipment uptime and operational efficiency and maintenance needs
Perform precision alignment, machine rebuilding, welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed
Create and close out work orders with data including, labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS Limble)
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE) and using tools and equipment according to proper safety requirements
Work from prints, schematics, diagrams, or general instructions to diagnose and repair manufacturing industrial equipment
Coordinate installation of new equipment and repair activity with other members of the maintenance team as well outside subcontractors, as required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience is required

• 8 - 10 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic; within a manufacturing or industrial environment is required
• Forklift Repair Certification is a plus
• Metal fabrication experience with MIG, TIG, and welding process a must with structural welding certification is preferred
• Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery is required
• Demonstrated understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical dynamics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills involving both light-duty and heavy-duty manufacturing industrial equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment, be detailed oriented, and focused
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with leadership and operations teams across all departments
• Required to read and write English and follow verbal instructions, including drawings and OEM repair manuals and on-line resources

This position requires work in an active industrial manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to moving machinery, elevated work areas, heat, dust, noise, and heavy equipment. Candidates must be able to lift, climb in high spaces, stand for extended periods, and safely perform physical maintenance tasks and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Language Skills:
