Housekeeping Janitorial Technician

Seeking Custodians for logistics facility in Charlotte, NC. This is a janitorial/corrugate position that will require MILES of walking a day.
Overview:

• $14.00/hour
• composite shoes/boots required

Shifts:

• 6AM-4:30PM Sun-Wed, Janitor
• 7am-5:30pm Sun-Wed, Trash Tech
• 7pm-5:30am Sun-Wed, Janitor
• 7pm-5:30am Sun-Wed, Trash Tech
• 6am-4:30pm Wed-Sat, Janitor
• 7am-5:30pm Wed-Sat, Trash Tech
• 7pm-5:30am Wed-Sat , Janitor

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters
Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project
Able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials
Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go
Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment
Other responsibilities as assigned
This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas: Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc.
While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Removing and Bailing Cardboard
Moving and stacking Pallets
Floor cleaning
Fork truck operation
Need to be open to ALL tasks
Qualifications:;
Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
Must have reliable transportation
