Head of management hr

Our client, a start-up in the nutrition and wellness space, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join the team on a temporary basis. The position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their office in Long Island City. Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is a requirement of this position. Job Details Manage HR operations for non-exempt employee population of 100+ in two locations nationwide

Act as a resource for HR questions on policies, benefits, and more

Manage leaves of absence, workers’ comp., and unemployment claims

Facilitate biweekly payroll, including managing data in timesheet system and HRIS

Manage employee relations, conduct investigations, and resolve issues as needed

Research, design, and implement HR policies

Pay Rate: $50-60 per hour, based on experience

Time Commitment: 35-40 hours per week, temporary, with potential to go perm!

Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required

3-5 years’ experience managing Human Resources operations for large employee populations

Must be bilingual - English and Spanish fluency required
