Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Frederick, Washington, and Montgomery counties.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary) 6:30am - 6:30pm; every other Saturday 6:30am - 12:00pmJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:2 years or more of phlebotomy experienceAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirementsProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testTravel to additional sitesValid Driver's license with clean driving record with reliable transportationBe at least 21 years' of ageThis position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. Sign on Bonus $1500.00 (external applicants only)**Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metricsFloat Incentive: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
