Head of Programme Management

East House

Program Manager
East House is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. We provide comprehensive services, including residential support, counseling, peer support and community outreach to empower individuals to overcome mental health and substance use disorders and lead fulfilling lives. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of the designated program including planning, development, and implementation of coordinated comprehensive recovery-based services that improve the quality of life for individuals served. This includes ensuring adherence to licensing and accreditation standards, managing the program within budgetary goals, supervising staff, implementing evidence-based programming, and fostering a supportive work environment aligned with East House values.
East House considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Oversees daily operations of the designated program.
Ensures adherence to state certification regulations and agency policies.
Supervises assigned staff and provides regular performance feedback and evaluations.
Facilitates case reviews to ensure service quality and client progress.
Utilizes program data for service evaluation and improvements.
Coordinates service planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Participates in strategic planning and agency leadership initiatives.
Manages unit budget, resource allocation, and purchasing as assigned.
Fosters positive community relationships and represents the program at meetings.
Ensures compliance with policies, federal and state regulations.
Collaborates with the Office of Ethics, Compliance & Quality on identifying and correcting non-compliance.
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of paid human services experience; Qualified Mental Health Professional (OMH programs) or Advanced CASAC/QHP (OASAS programs).
Valid NYS driver's license in good standing and access to a personal vehicle for work-related tasks.
Ability to manage crises and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Intermediate computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word and electronic documentation.
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
