Job Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Tacoma, Washington on a Contract basis. This role will provide broad HR support across recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee administration during a high-demand period that includes open enrollment. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in day-to-day HR operations, communicates clearly with employees, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day human resources support across recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee record management.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment activities, including coordinating job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring decisions.
• Prepare employment documentation such as offer letters and assist with pre-employment processes.
• Support onboarding by coordinating paperwork, system updates, and a smooth transition into the organization.
• Assist with open enrollment activities by entering data, responding to employee questions, and helping maintain accurate benefits information.
• Maintain personnel files and HR records while ensuring documentation is current, organized, and compliant.
• Update and track compensation-related reports using Excel and other HR tools to support internal reporting needs.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, leave requests, and general HR policies in a timely and thorough manner.
• Serve as a flexible HR team resource, providing administrative and operational support wherever coverage is needed. •ADP Experience Required
• 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee administration.
• Working knowledge of benefits administration, open enrollment processes, and leave management.
• Experience maintaining HRIS data and employee records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Intermediate Excel skills and solid proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to answer employee questions clearly and professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and adapt to changing HR priorities in a fast-paced environment.
