Pride Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Portland, OR 97219 . This is a 11-week contract with potential for extension . Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.
Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist
Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients
Accurately document client status with daily, weekly, or monthly records and submit clinical paperwork on time
Notify physical therapist or management of any equipment failures, supply shortages, staff or client changes
Schedule clients and perform varied office tasks
Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities
Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors through education and coaching
2+ years of PTA experience with Home Health required.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degree
• Current OR state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Reimbursement provided (from first patient to last patient)
