Security Guard Duties and Responsibilities:

monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; Obtains help by sounding alarms.
informing violators of policy and procedures; Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; May partner with and/or file reports with local law enforcement, as needed.
Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
May walk employees and visitors to cars, as needed.
Treats all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy.
Security Guard Skills and Abilities:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Uses good judgment and proven ability to work with confidential information – only sharing information with the Administrator and HR designee.
Flexibility and ability to work all shifts, as scheduled (24/7 operations).
Security Guard Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience working in security preferred.
Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
