Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist

East Tennessee Behavioral Health is a 90-bed acute inpatient behavioral health facility offering inpatient, IOP, PHP, and ECT services. We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care to adults and adolescents throughout East Tennessee. We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, managing medications, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.

One weekend of call/rounding per month

Supportive team of psychiatrists and psychiatric NPs

Monthly productivity bonus

• $Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.

Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.

Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.

Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.

Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.

One or more years' post graduate degree practice preferred.

Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
