We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient clinic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing physical therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans and delivering therapy treatments. Provide comprehensive patient care, administer active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, heat, light, sound, water, and electrical modality treatment such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, ultraviolet, infrared, and hot and cold packs.

Observes patients during treatments, compiles data on patients’ responses to treatments and progress, and reports orally or in writing to the Physical Therapist and Clinical Director.

Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members, individually and in conference, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.

Measures the patient’s range of joint motion, length and girth of body parts, and vital signs to determine the effects of specific treatments or to assist the Physical Therapist in compiling data for patient evaluations.

1+ year of experience, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical Therapy Assistant program.

Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant or the ability to obtain it in North Carolina.

Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.

Training and support.
