Plant Custodian - 1st Shift

SWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment. Today, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing and Fastener Sorting fields, SWD Inc. has over 200 employees and runs three shifts per day in its 250,000 sq. ft. facility just west of Chicago in Addison, Illinois.
We are seeking a Plant Custodian. This full-time position will be Monday-Friday 1st shift 7 am-3 pm CT. The starting pay while training is $18.00/hour.
Sweeping and cleaning plant floors
Preparing coil cleaning for Phos and Black Oxide lines
Cleaning bathrooms and lunchroom
Properly disposing of cleaning chemicals and recyclable materials
Prior Janitor or Custodian experience preferred
Forklift experience a plus
