PRN Registered NurseOnsite Innovations is now hiring an experienced and passionate PRN Registered Nurse for our on-site healthcare clinic located at our client's site in Kokomo, Indiana. This is your opportunity to step out of a traditional nurse setting and make your impact on employee health, wellness and safety!Essential duties and responsibilities include:Escorts patients to exam room, prepares patients for examination and treatment and assists the practitioner, as requestedDraws blood and prepares appropriate paperwork for laboratory pick-upPerforms urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensures preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratoryMaintains exam rooms, lab area and treatment rooms clean and stocked, maintaining inventory of supplies and re-orders as neededAssists in medical record maintenance by keeping health, administrative, and program records onsite, safeguarding confidentiality of employee health informationPerforms front office clerical duties such as answering telephones, check-in, check-out and record processingDispenses medications as directed by practitioner and in accordance with state regulationsMaintains and operates all clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and proceduresPerforms ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws) in accordance with established policies and proceduresService mentality, attention to detail, sense of urgency, initiative, and flexibility are required. Excellent customer service skills, ability to handle sensitive information, and willingness to participate in continuing medical education are also necessary.Education level: Bachelor's Degree Major: NursingDegree must be from an accredited college or university. Current registration/license in the state where employed. Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, FIT, certification.
