Quality EngineerJoin our aerospace manufacturing team as a Quality Engineer responsible for driving product quality, investigating customer returns, leading corrective actions, and supporting inspection and compliance activities.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate customer-returned products and identify root causes.Review and process customer RMAs.Oversee final inspection activities to ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements.Represent Quality on the Material Review Board (MRB).Support AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI).Participate in internal and external quality audits.Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Production to resolve quality issues.QualificationsExperience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace or a regulated manufacturing environment.Knowledge of AS9102 and First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements.Leadership or supervisory experience in quality or inspection operations.Audit experience and understanding of quality systems.PreferredAerospace connector or electronic/mechanical component experience.Experience coaching and developing quality teams.Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and best practices.Aerospace manufacturing facility with a mix of production floor and office-based work.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
