Project Manager

Immediate need for a talented Project Manager. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Hybrid).

Manage 10–12 utility infrastructure and capital construction projects simultaneously.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts.

Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor project expenditures.

Review contractor proposals, bids, estimates, and change orders for accuracy and compliance.

Interpret civil engineering drawings, utility plans, and construction documents.

Coordinate with engineering, construction, permitting, municipalities, contractors, and utility stakeholders.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Conduct field inspections and project site walkdowns to verify construction progress and quality.

Ensure projects comply with company standards, safety regulations, and engineering specifications.

Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to leadership.

Support project closeout activities, including documentation and financial reconciliation.

Project Management

Financial Forecasting (Monthly Cash Flows) of projects

Project Management experience (3+ years)

Utility experience (Electric, Gas, or Water) or Civil construction experience or Engineering experience directly working on Utility installation/relocation projects

Experience reviewing contract proposals/bids

Experience with preparing the project forecasting (e.g., Monthly Cash Flows)
