CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

CEIS Power is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist with 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines to machine precision components in a repair or manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity with an industrial repair and manufacturing company specializing in rotating equipment, turbomachinery, and precision machining services. The ideal candidate will have experience machining complex industrial components, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced growing team.
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to machine precision components to specifications.
Machine, modify, and repair rotating equipment components, including pumps, compressors, turbines, housings, and related parts.
Load tooling, establish work offsets, adjust machine settings, and make program edits as needed.
Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy.
Work with CNC programmers, machinists, and quality personnel to ensure parts meet production and repair requirements.
3+ years of CNC milling experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, or industrial repair environment.

• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, machining methods, feeds, and speeds.
• Ability to perform machine offsets and basic program edits.
• Experience machining rotating equipment or turbomachinery components.

Background in industrial repair, rebuilds, or job shop machining.
Experience machining large or complex industrial components.
Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc or similar systems.
Experience with horizontal boring mills (HBMs), large milling machines, or other heavy machining equipment.
Experience working with tight tolerances on one-off or low-volume production jobs.
