Structural Engineering Graduate

Job Description Job Title: Structural Engineer I (EIT) Job Description We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer I (EIT) to join our Tucson-based consulting engineering team. In this role, you will support the design and analysis of a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, government, and infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong technical foundation in structural design and a desire to work closely with experienced Professional Engineers in a collaborative environment.

Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.

Assist in the preparation of construction documents, calculations, specifications, and reports.

Develop structural plans and details utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project teams.

Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural assessments as needed.

Support project managers with project delivery, scheduling, and construction administration.

Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design tools.

Strong foundation in structural engineering principles.

Experience in structural analysis and design.

Ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Experience with Revit is a plus.

Work Environment You will work in a dynamic, multi-discipline civil and structural engineering consulting firm that serves architects, developers, contractors, and public-sector clients throughout the Southwest. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
