Paralegal PositionThe position will be full time 8:30 – 5:00, Monday to FridayJob Summary: A medium-size Harrisburg law firm, is offering a rewarding career opportunity for a paralegal. Candidate must have experience with handling real estate closings independently and with real estate settlement software, such as Softpro. Duties will include coordination of closing; reviewing and inputting title information; and drafting legal documents, such as deeds, agreements of sale, and affidavits. Candidate should have a willingness to learn other areas of law, such as debt collection, and may be asked to provide administrative support responsibilities to multiple attorneys.Benefits include participation in the firm's profit-sharing plan, long term disability, life insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.Requirements ~5 years of paralegal experience with independent, end-to-end management of real estate closings — coordinating the closing, reviewing and inputting title information, and managing closing logistics from file opening through completion.Demonstrated experience drafting and delivering core real-estate closing documents (deeds, agreements of sale, affidavits) with accuracy suitable for recording/closing.Experience supporting multiple attorneys and handling related practice-area work (e.g., debt collection) as assigned, showing ability to manage a mixed caseload.
