I am recruiting for an Am Law 100 firm that wants an experienced civil litigator in its Williamsburg office. This is a role for someone with 7+ years who takes cases from inception through trial and wants a platform big enough to keep their clients' work in house.
They're open on level, which is why the salary placeholder covers Senior Counsel through Partner. The firm's national bands are $140,000 to $215,000 for Senior Counsel/Of Counsel and $190,000 to $275,000+ for Partners. Williamsburg figures are still to be confirmed.
Compensation also reflects business generation, so a book counts.
What you'll do Handle civil litigation from first file review through verdict
Lead hearings, depositions and trials
Work directly with clients and grow those relationships on a national platform
What you'll bring 7+ years of civil litigation, with cases taken through to trial
Insurance defense experience is a real plus
Comfort running files without anyone checking over your shoulder
