Mechanical (HVAC) Engineering

The Real Estate Team is a significant part of the growth engine of our company. We thrive on finding the best property and markets to expand our portfolio of Athletic Resort destinations. We work side by side with our Team Members in the Property Development group by leveraging continual collaboration throughout the life cycle of each project. Provide in-house functional engineering expertise relating to Plumbing, HVAC, and HVAC Control Systems. Develop a commissioning program and oversee third party commissioning consultants. Provide discipline specific expertise in consultation with Real Estate & Development, Architecture, Construction, and Operations Teams within Life Time, as well as with outside design consultants, for facilities nationwide.

Develop and maintain standards for plumbing and HVAC system design.
Perform quality control reviews of progress prints and final construction documents for adherence to Life Time standards.
Coordinate with an outside commissioning consultant to develop and maintain a commissioning standard for mechanical systems at new facilities.
Collaborate with Life Time Construction to assist with mechanical equipment procurement and installation.
Collaborate with Life Time Facility Operations to ensure operational standards are adhered to as well as continually reviewed for improvement opportunities.
Perform construction administration services including responding to questions, reviewing and documenting installed conditions and deficiencies.
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or HVAC design

• 7-10 years experience in mechanical system design with multiple types of HVAC systems
• Experience with Commissioning and Energy Standards
• Ability to perform site investigation activities to document existing conditions, including traversing ladders for roof and ceiling space access
• Project management and construction administration experience

Familiarity with REVIT MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, load calculation software similar to Trane TRACE 700
This is a salaried position starting at $78,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $107,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
