Physiatrist in Rehabilitation Medicine
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
The Sports Medicine Physical Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine and under direct supervision of the Sports Medicine Rehab Team Leader. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. Although team members report directly to a team leader, they are also responsible to each other, to those they supervise (rehab assistants and athletic trainers) and to other participants included in the patient care activities.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree
Required Qualifications
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Ohio.
Preferred credentials in Athletic Training, Strength and Conditioning, or a Sports Specialty in Physical Therapy.
Minimum one year of experience in a Sports Medicine rehabilitation field.
Employment Requirements
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
Drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
