Phlebotomist (Day shift/ Full time)

Opportunity

Saint Luke’s Primary Care in Independence is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to be an integral part of our team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community. This position’s primary responsibilities are phlebotomy while also having the ability to assist in the rooming of patients when needed as an MA.

Shift Details

Full-time, 8:30am – 5pm.

Responsibilities

Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Conduct pre-visit plans, room patients, and obtain vitals.

Phlebotomy.

Administer injections and coordinate vaccines.

Assist providers with procedures.

Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents.

Conduct telephone screening (with protocols).

Cover front office responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Less than 1 year of applicable experience.

Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
