CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.As our Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will provide quality patient care and perform high-quality images and exams, acting as a clinical resource and role model for unit personnel.Every day you will maintain sensitivity to patient needs, demonstrate leadership abilities, and assure current standards of practice for the unit, contributing to the overall excellence of the medical imaging department.To be successful in this role, you will possess strong technical proficiency in medical sonography, a commitment to patient-centered care and quality imaging, and the ability to serve as a resource for best practices within the unit.Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts and vascular.Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.DARDMS registered RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or CardiovascularCredentialing International (RCS)BLS through American Heart AssociationPreferredAssociate's DegreeBachelor's DegreeOne (1) year of ultrasound experienceFor the state of UT: LRTFounded in 1875, for more than a century, Holy Cross Hospital Salt Lake has provided high-quality healthcare for residents of the Salt Lake Valley.
