Our team creates a welcoming environment where residents feel at home, supported, and valued. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Cook to join our team at a senior living community. The Culinary Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents in a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment.
Taste all food before serving to residents to ensure the food is good quality and palatable
cover and place cold plates in a designated area, ensuring all are served at the proper temperature
Monitor and record food temperatures at each meal
Frequently taste and adjust food for proper appearance, flavor, smell, and consistency
Plan Chef's Choice items to be served daily, verifying selection with Culinary Director as requested
Supervise servers to prepare food, clean, and store supplies and equipment
Oversee servers as they complete resident checklists and communicate to ensure residents' needs are met
Maintains a clean food service work area as food preparation and service is in process
Work Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent organizational, time-management and computer skills
