SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials to support operations across the company. This role involves working with SAP and other inventory systems to ensure accurate material tracking, timely order fulfillment, and safe handling procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment.Essential FunctionsReceiving Materials: Unload shipments, verify contents against invoices, inspect for damage, and complete Goods Receipt transactions in SAP.Storing Materials: Organize and label inventory in designated storage locations (racks, shelves, or bins); Inventory Management: Perform routine cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with internal and external audits.Material Distribution: Pick and stage materials for production or shipment. Deliver items to proper departments and communicate delivery completion to internal partners.Shipping & Packing: Package finished goods, generate shipping labels and documentation, and assist with outbound shipment coordination.Operating Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Perform daily equipment safety checks and report issues.Follow all safety protocols and immediately report unsafe conditions.Collaborate with internal departments including sales, service, and operations to meet material deadlines.Support process improvement initiatives such as 5S and lean practices.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse or material handling rolePrevious experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems preferredForklift experience preferredValid Driver's License requiredSkillsBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and inventory systems)Strong attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentCapable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlinesCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsValid Driver's LicenseForklift CertificationWorkplace RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
