This is a 7p - 7a Night Shift Position
Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery. Administers commonly used drugs and solutions in Cardiology and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care. Documents all phases of patient status while in care. Implements and monitors patient care plans to ensure effective treatment. Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs. [E. program for nurses working with newborns preferred; E. program for nurses providing primary NICU care; Associate's of Nursing [Required]
Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
1+ years experience in an area of NICU Nursing [Preferred]
Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
