Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Holiday / Every Other Weekend
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to medical oncology patients in an inpatient setting
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and chemotherapy-related supportive care as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
Current BLS certification
Experience in medical oncology or a related acute care nursing specialty
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills
ONS chemotherapy and biotherapy certification
Prior experience in an inpatient oncology unit
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
