SCHOOL NURSE

VACANCY: SCHOOL NURSE

LOCATION: DARIEN HIGH SCHOOL

EFFECTIVE: August 2026

REQUIREMENTS

Current Connecticut Registered Nurse License

School Nurse experience preferred

Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications

BSN Preferred

DUTIES

Provide direct nursing care to students for illness, injury, and chronic conditions

Maintain student health records and ensure compliance with state laws, regulations, and district policies

Lead the DHS Medical Emergency Response Team and maintain AEDs

Provide health education to students and annual state-mandated health training to DHS staff

Communicate and collaborate with parents/guardians and DHS staff to address student health concerns

Such other duties as assigned
