Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility on nights shifts. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, with orientation starting on 10/05/2026. The assignment duration is 12 weeks, and local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted.
Job Details:
Shift Hours: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:

Two years of recent experience in emergency room nursing or relevant specialty
Valid and active license in Virginia or in a compact licensing state
Certifications required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
Trauma Certification (e.g., ATCN, TNCC, ATLC) required
Orientation start date: 10/05/2026, with every other Monday start
All Release to Operate (RTO) requests must be included in the submission packet
Cerner experience preferred
Covid/Flu vaccinations with approved declinations accepted
Additional Information:

Prior travel experience is required for all positions at this organization
Client can cancel up to 36 hours before each assignment due to census fluctuations
This role requires compliance with all organizational policies and standards for emergency nursing practice
