Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Students

American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for an Assistant Dean of Students for the 2026-2027 academic year located in the West Valley. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assists the Dean of Students in managing student behavior, discipline, safety, and learning environment.

Assists with the development and implementation of student disciplinary policies and procedures.

Enforces guidelines and requirements for student behavior, dress, conduct, and compliance with requirements as documented in the parent-student handbook.

Counsels students and parents about school and district behavior, dress, and conduct policies.

Supports campus extracurricular activities such as prom, dances, assemblies, and other social events to ensure a safe and positive environment consistent with ALA’s mission, vision, and values.

coordinates with attendance clerk, campus health aide, campus psychologist, and academic assistant directors to maximize students in‑class time.

Abides by policies as set forth by ALA Board, District office, and the campus director.

Organizational and self‑management skills to effectively handle multiple responsibilities.

Strong planning, execution, and problem‑solving skills.

Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications: Arizona Teaching Certificate

Bachelor’s degree
