Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and oversee preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for examination as required.
Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff and trainees, ensuring the lab maintains high-quality standards.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.
A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within a year of employment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork with healthcare teams.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly concerning quality control and documentation.
