REMOTE POSITION / CLAIMS PROCESSOR

Join a leading claims and risk management organization supporting clients across a variety of industries. This remote California-based contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Examiner (3+ years of California WC experience) This is an excellent opportunity to work independently while collaborating with an experienced claims team on challenging, high-impact cases. You'll gain exposure to complex workers' compensation claims, utilize industry best practices, and play a key role in driving timely, cost-effective claim resolutions in a flexible remote work environment. Contract Duration: 5 Months (possible extensions) Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of Workers' Compensation claims examining experience Experience managing complex and high-exposure workers' compensation claims Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claim adjudication Experience handling litigation and rehabilitation claims Reserve analysis and management experience Settlement negotiation within designated authority limits Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications Ability to pass a credit security/background check Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Professional claims certification applicable to Workers' Compensation Experience with subrogation and recovery processes Knowledge of Medicare, Social Security offsets, and Second Injury Fund recoveries Experience working in a client-focused claims environment What You Will Be Doing
