AEROSPACE CNC Programmers

CNC Machinist III $35 - $45 per hour | Pasadena, CA | On-site | Permanent Key Responsibilities Interpret job travelers and select the correct tooling and machine setups for each project. Operate CNC mills and lathes, as well as conventional mills and lathes. Perform precision machining on close‐tolerance parts (+/- 0.001", +/- 0.0005"). Handle raw metal preparation, sanding, deburring, and inventory control. Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle grinders. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency. Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in a fast‐paced aerospace shop. Qualifications Previous lead role in an aerospace machine shop. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in CNC setup and operation, with experience in conventional machining. Knowledge of machining exotic materials and working to tight tolerances. Excellent math skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability. Physical stamina and commitment to safety. Experience with continuous improvement and team leadership.
