Welder - Fabrication
Schedule: Full-time | Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Overtime Available
Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of welding and fabrication experience, proficiency in MIG, TIG and Arc welding. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components and structural products according to customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standard.
Full-time, long-term opportunity with overtime available
TIG and other welding processes to include arc and gas welding processes with precision and efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including analog MIG welders, chop saws, grinders, and basic mill equipment
Handle and stage raw materials and inventory to include finished parts
Work independently and collaboratively to meet production and project deadlines
Successfully pass weld/fabrication tests as part of the hiring process
Minimum of three years of welding and fabrication experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
Proficiency in MIG/TIG/Arc welding on steel and aluminum
High School Diploma or GED Required
Trade School/Technical welding certification preferred
Ability to read blueprints, follow welding codes, and perform accurate layout and fit-up
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
AWS or equivalent certifications preferred but not required
