Head of Finance (Full-Time)

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Finance to join Ashby Ponds, continuing care retirement community in Ashburn, VA, home to more than 2,000 residents. As a key member of the community's Executive Leadership Team, this role offers the unique opportunity to shape strategy, drive financial performance, and influence critical business decisions across a large, multifaceted operation. The Director of Finance serves as a trusted advisor to executive and operational leaders, providing financial insight that supports growth, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. This is more than a traditional finance leadership position. It's a high-visibility executive opportunity to lead financial strategy for a thriving community, oversee complex business operations, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and team members alike. What you will make an impact Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight for the community

Establish and maintain strong accounting controls and efficient financial processes

Lead the analysis and interpretation of financial results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities

Partner with operations to support business decisions and financial performance

Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment

Identify and help mitigate business and enterprise risks

Develop and implement policies and procedures that support effective financial operations

Coach, develop, and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning

Compensation: $135,000 -$150,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus
