Overview Job Type: Regular. Work Location: Best Buy 223 - Albuquerque, NM 87123.
Become a Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate! Pay: $17.00 per hour. Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs.
In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big‑box retailer(s). You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs, build rapport with customers, and establish professional relationships with store management and employees.
Day‑in‑the‑life: Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy, engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience, maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store, train retail store associates on HP products and services, maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness, and report competitive insights.

Responsibilities Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments.
Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees.
Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis.
Courtely welcome customers and offer assistance.
Direct customers by escorting them to displays, assess needs, and suggest products to fit those needs.
Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
Help customers make selections by building customer confidence.
Accurately document and report sales.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times.
Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Six (6) months of prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiasm.
Outgoing personality and eagerness to learn.
Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training.
Skill to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech or wireless - a plus.
Training or product demonstration experience - a plus.
1‑year job experience required.
