Requirements

• Current RN license in the state or compact state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience.
• Experience in community hospital and Trauma Level I/II setting preferred.
• EMR experience with Epic required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopy procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, and advanced interventional GI procedures.
• Provide peri-procedure care including pre/post-procedure, recovery, and monitoring/administration of conscious sedation.
• Perform procedural roles such as circulating and specimen handling/labeling.
• Support bronchoscopies as needed.
• Recognize and manage dysrhythmias.

Compliance / Notes

• Orientation: 20 hours.
• All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start.
• Maximum of 7 days of time-off allowed per contract, finalized at time of submission.
