RDA/DENTAL ASSISTANCE

22.84 per hour | Full-time In this role you will assist the dentist with patient care, procedures, X-rays, sterilization, scheduling, records, supplies, and oral health instructions while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, facility security, safety, and accountability.

• Assist the dentist in performing services by preparing detainees in chair and handling required instruments, equipment and dental plastics.

Sterilize instruments and keep office stocked with required supplies.

Arrange and maintain appointment schedule, perform clerical duties as necessary.

Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records; Provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions as prescribed by the dentist.

The incumbent is required to work overtime when directed to do so.

High school diploma or GED

Six months clinical dental assistant experience,

US citizenship or lawful US permanent resident

Current certification or registration as a dental assistant in the state of Arizona

Must successfully complete required preservice training.
