Silver Spring, Maryland Wound Care Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Rhino Medical is actively seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland. This is a specialized clinical role focused on the assessment, treatment, and management of acute and chronic wounds in a patient-centered care environment.
This opportunity is ideal for RNs with wound care certification and strong clinical assessment skills who are passionate about improving patient outcomes and preventing complications.
Contract Type: Travel RN – Wound Care
Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
Acute care and/or outpatient wound care environment
EMR: Facility-specific system (training provided)
Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
Provide advanced wound care therapies and dressing management
Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians, therapy teams, and case management
Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care and prevention
Ensure compliance with infection control and skin integrity protocols
Support quality initiatives related to wound care and pressure injury prevention
Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Wound Care Certified (WCC) – Required
Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience (acute care preferred)
Experience in wound care, med/surg, home health, or long-term care
Familiarity with advanced wound care therapies and products
Specialized wound care-focused role
Consistent demand for skilled wound care RNs
