Physical Therapist (PT)
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in an acute care setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Description
This position involves performing physical therapy assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for patients. The therapist will deliver therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education to enhance recovery and improve functionality.
Schedule Details
Shift: 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend coverage as needed.
Primary Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Weekend Requirement: Occasionally for coverage; any weekend shifts will replace a weekday shift.
Contract Length
The position is expected to last for 16 weeks, with possible extensions based on performance and patient needs.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience in an acute care setting.
Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Alaska.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Information
Free housing is provided for one occupant, but pet units are not available.
Requests for time off (RTO) up to 14 days may be made, including a maximum of 4 weekend shifts, to be requested at the time of submission.
Candidates must reside 50+ miles outside the area.
