What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to standards; maintains product quality standards.
Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld devices to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
Be an Owner: Maintains work area per company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Complies with policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; seeking improvements and adapting to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances. Minimum qualifications are required as listed below.
