Registered Nurse (RN), Weekend Shift, Home Health

Pediatric RN

This position involves providing nursing care in a pediatric unit. Common diagnoses include failure to thrive, hyperbilirubinemia, bronchiolitis, RSV, respiratory distress, nausea/vomiting, and post-operative care following tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. The unit consists of 8 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 3:1 or 4:1, depending on acuity. The facility utilizes an electronic health record system. There may be a requirement for floating to the mother/baby well baby unit. Two weekend shifts per month are required.
