Assembly Welder -- Full-Time

Summary: Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with supervision. Efficiently produce quality welds.
Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair.
Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman with regard to issues and concerns
on the job site.
Comply with all Matrix safety policies and programs.
Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication environment must be able to pass the following weld tests.
Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening.
Must complete the Matrix Service Basic Safety training and site-specific training.
Must possess a valid TWIC card.
Site may require fire retardant clothing.

Must be willing to frequently travel/relocate.
Must be willing to work frequent overtime.
Must be able and willing to work at elevated heights from Ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, work platforms, etc.
Work will include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 60 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools.
