About the Position

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3 Shifts per Week | Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Key Responsibilities
Labor, deliver, and recover mothers, and receive and transition newborns including full assessment within an LDRP unit setting
Perform and assist with procedures including C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries
Manage inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil, and apply fetal monitoring skills throughout the labor process
Respond to and manage OB emergencies including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Conduct daily patient rounding and safety rounding on all patients
Utilize documentation systems and central monitoring equipment including IV pumps, infant warmers, bili-blankets, and PCA pumps
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Charge nurse experience required
Current BLS certification
Current NRP certification
Fetal monitoring training and certification
Experience with labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care in an LDRP environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience managing OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Familiarity with Meditech and CPN documentation systems
Cross-training or experience in NICU intermediate care settings
