Position Summary BBI Construction Management is hiring an Estimator to support preconstruction and business development through accurate cost estimating, subcontractor engagement, and early project planning. The role owns conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, bid proposals, and value engineering recommendations for commercial construction projects.

The right candidate has estimated both renovation and ground-up commercial work, and understands what changes when construction happens inside an occupied building.

Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.

Develop bid packages and proposal documents.

Participate in preconstruction planning and budgeting.

Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Maintain estimating databases and historical cost data.

Coordinate with project teams through project turnover and startup.

Required Qualifications 3-10 years of commercial construction estimating experience.

Experience with renovation and/or ground-up commercial projects.

Experience performing quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.

Working knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office.

Healthcare, higher education, municipal, or institutional project experience preferred.

Build trusted relationships with subcontractors and clients.
